Dr. Kevin Farr is a friendly and dedicated general and cosmetic dentist based in Louisville. Originally from Utah, he located to Louisville to attend UofL where he accidentally fell in love with the bluegrass state. After graduation in 2017 he practiced in Georgia and Utah but found he couldn’t stay away from the people and beautiful state of Kentucky. He is thrilled to now join Parkside Family Dental who share his passion for high quality dentistry and state-of-the-art technology.
Prior to becoming a dentist Dr. Farr earned a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University and had a promising future as an engineer. This background gives him unique perspective and tools he uses as a dentist. To Dr. Farr dentistry is not just about drilling and filling, but the perfect blend of art and science. He loves being able to help his patients’ overcome dental anxieties through his comfortable and compassionate approach. He believes in offering his patients the opportunity to be active in their treatment decision process and educating them as to how they can maintain a healthy smile for life.
Dr. Farr makes every effort to stay on top of current developments in dentistry. To that end, he maintains the highest levels of accreditation and takes advantage of ongoing education in both general and cosmetic dentistry. His scope of dental expertise encompasses such procedures as teeth whitening, tooth extractions, root canals, restorative crown and bridge treatments, removable dentures, orthodontics, implants and Invisalign. He strives for perfection in all he does. No matter his patients’ concerns – emergency, restorative, or cosmetic – Dr. Farr ensures their trust is always in the best hands possible.
Dr. Farr is a member of the American Dental Association and the Kentucky Dental Association. He was the recipient of the 2017 UofL Karen Andrus award and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist Award. Outside of the office Dr. Farr spends his time with his wife and three children. He enjoys traveling, playing guitar, being outdoors, cooking and finding great places to eat.
